Will Adems

It’s often that you get to write a bibliography about your idol so I haven’t left the chance too late to write about this big star. He lives in a 3 story house well over hundred years old in las Angeles, an affluent region of LA. He has a brother named Carl Adams who cuts his hair since they were children. He is famous in America as well as England and opinion is taken seriously by presidents old and new. His original name is William Adams born 38 years ago and has been sort out as a producer by Michal Jackson and the leading member of the Black eyed peas. He is also a fashion ester with his own unique style and even having his own clothing line called I.am clothing.  He has cabinets full of awards that are always locked due to his busy schedules. In 2007 he suggested to reimagine Obamas campaign speech “yes we can”. The need to help is always at the peak of his mind and this is what drives him into the depths of success. His family were strong with prier and strict without cursing. He was unable to say “shit, shoot, darn and crap” and his most treasured person was his mother’s friend who passed away. The way he writes songs is that he listens to the music he creates first. When you’re in his presents, you can feel his mind racing ahead for future projects even while his is in his present project. His most sleep daily is four hours because he feels like there is so much that can be done in 20 hours. His best friend since childhood is Al panedo AKA Apple D ap, the co-founder of the Black eyed peas. Apple D was adopted from the Philippines. Their original name for their group were 7 singes, B unit and beans and rice. Will I am is walking imagination. “I love that fact that his understanding of technology is the prime solution to the future modernism. He also understand to move forward, we have to get out of the monetisation such as people not creating new things with the intent of money. That ways to think of money isn’t the key source to get money but the drive to make change and design instead of catching up. He and I both like the idea of the social networks and YouTube were designed at first to make that change and then used as a tool to make money.” (Will.I.Am (2012)

Perspective of male and female

Perspective of the Male and female

There is a big difference between male and female body language such as how we fall into the labels of parasitic gender roles such as men are meant to act as something and women are meant to act as something as well. The body language is meant to demonstrate certain things so men are assumed to act muscling with less emotion and women are meant to act more feminine like with their legs crossed. For the women out there, you wouldn’t want to see a man sitting with the legs crossed and their hands gently placed on their lap and for the men. Seeing a woman carelessly laying on the chair with her legs spread while she’s scratching herself and burping would be appropriated. With these stereotypical labels mean that you want to see the male and female aligned with how they were “intended” in that society in that culturally and society reference. If this is meant to be true then why do people want to change their gender? My assumptions are that everyone has their own individual answer but I also think that a lot of people who want to have a gender change is to align their physical body with their mental mind. imagesB8DX1H03

The term transgender is used to describe anyone whose gender identity or expression doesn’t match the traditional gender role they were assigned at birth. In the society as diverse as it is, despite all the uniqueness of the people, still remains in the dark corners of the culture are the ones who fail to accept anything outside their understanding, due to my pigment of skin, I tocan imagine the struggles transgender people continue to be faced with; not just because of the ignorant, but the inner difficulties we endure. When people think of gender, they think of two things of course, a he and she, penis and vagina. But YouTube sensation Lucia green argues that it is much more complicated than that. “The moment you were born, if you were a boy, your parents grabbed their boys suitcase (or filter if you will) packed with ideas with how you would then be raised because you had a pines. It would have lots of blue, sports, trucks, action figures, short hair and abs. but it also had toughness, dominance, courage and leadership and even if you truest self, before you came out and were given a suitcase, aligned with everything that was in there, you could come out happier than ever. But what happens if all these things you learnt and supposed to be wrong or incomplete? You might start to feel like there was no room for who you really were. Then you might start to look at the other suitcase. The girls suitcase” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sHBAVjahp8)

People have been talking about gender equality according to Islam from people not of that culture that women do not have the freedom that men do in Islam but I have researched to find out that the women in Islam were given the right to vote, not fought for, they have the right to work and they are well treated. If a woman asks for something, the man has to do it, for example, if the woman wants to move out, the man has to oblige by it. But the man isn’t considered more powerful even though the stereotypical thought is that the man is more powerful. The female clearly has the strength to project the man but the man is as strong to protect themselves.

In the movie called Made in dagenham, the women in the industrial factory was declared as unskilled despite all the sheer determination for the job alone and never getting the chance to speak or defend for themselves. the union also made the pay for women less then for men. After watching this movie, I truly have respect  woman and what we went through not just the pay crisis but as a mother. Just to see the exhaustion of the father doing the jobs that the mother would have done proves the difficulty. In another clip, the child of the main character and other children from the estate have less respect then the other children with a more financial background.

Inner Mind

On the 25th of March at 03:08. I had a very deep and understanding conversation with a roommate of mine with powerful passion towards not only a happier life, but the greater good for a healthier and more beautiful world. We began to discuss money and how the world revolves around it. The only reason money has power is because we believe it has power, believe that it has purpose. I had the thought that what if the entire world believed that money had no worth. It’s clear that people work for money, people need money to improve technology, for food and nutrients, warmth and the key component to make our society strive. But money isn’t needed for these things. We can’t literally include the notes and coins as an ingredient for making a car, or working an engine. My mind then carries on to think how long we have relied on electricity and that we have lost the understanding to rely on each other and that tacking it out of to lifestyle will cause insanity. The tubes in London are the battery that keeps London running. Even with a couple of tubes not working because of someone either jumping inform of the train or just casual tube problems can leave part of London slightly crippled but without electricity, the city will plunge into chaos.

At this point into the conversation is where my roommate wants change. The kind of change where she has the gives her understanding to the world of how live or cooperate with nature without the need for electricity and LILI (Low Impact Living Initiative) comes into the picture. It states on the website that” Low-impact Living Initiative (LILI) is a non-profit organisation – a network of great people and organisations providing information, training, products & services to help you live more sustainably. (http://www.lowimpact.org/message.php) Low impact means low negative impact on nature and on ourselves. The best way to illustrate this is by comparing our current ‘high-impact’ situation with low-impact alternatives.

We both agreed that how our society works, how people are getting out of bed to earn money, how rare it is to even see a happy face in the working world or even fighting to reach that masters in university, we are not truly living.  The word “Living” pierced my mind with memories of curiosity of the unknown. A question that may course though the depths of our mind is what happens after death? It’s argued in this video that it has not been scientifically proven that there is life after death but more research should be committed to this topic. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THx5YsAeICY) Mentioned in a dream that my roommate had of herself in an ambulance with death slowly creeping towards her. In the dream a cold slumber awaited her and in the end felt like she was sinking into her own mind, she could sense that she was in her body but couldn’t move, consumed by a dark abyss then returning back into her body fully functional. Did she die in her dream or was it an outer body experience? In the end, it was humanly impossible to explain was it wasn’t death but reborn. What if that light at the end of the tunnel is you being reborn?

If that was the truth then where do the memories of our past lives go? If there is not life after death then either we live on beyond our bodies as a faded being, or we are then on forever consciousless, trapped in the furthest corners of nothingness. There was a photo that another roommate took in a beautiful place on London to me, it related completely to that thought how the tree is almost completely void from any other tree, representing that unwanted solitude that we may or may not face at the end of our time.

But if there is life after death then there would be no death, just new life forever cycling through time. But what I fear most and what truly upsets is that the memories of that past life does not carry on. That we are strangers to our previous selves. The reason why it tears me to write is that all this that we are doing, all that we experience, all that we love, hate and makes us what we are will literally be a memory. But as the saying goes, nothing lasts forever. Think of all the things that we are talented at, that the first time you try something you are basically a natural. Maybe you are talented, but what if your past life actually practised hours upon hours to be extremely great at what you just so happened to be great at the first time? With every new game I want from waiting trailers and gameplay. I always watch the way the action-packed violence surrounds the player and when they make a mistake I imagine myself doing better. I’m thinking of shortcuts and tactics that actually work. And when I’ve actually got the game, I am already a self-claimed and then eventually known professional player. This wasn’t the result of researching tactics and glitches, this was just my imagination at work and constantly thinking of the outcome thought.

“Outcome is the general term used in NLP to refer to some desired state, achievement, goal, target, wish, dream or event. ‘Outcome thinking’ means focusing your thoughts on what you want. It’s important because it’s hard to decide what to do if you’re not certain about what you want to achieve.” D,Lowther (2012) It’s just like dreaming big, imagine you’re from a poor backgrounds and you want to become a famous films director but you have no clear visible path to reach it. Thinking “oh I can’t do it because I’m so poor” “Patterns like this prevent any kind of focused activity towards the desired state, by presenting the impossibility of having it. The meaning of a well-formed outcome is that it is represented in your mind in a way that makes it easy to achieve. It’s the representation of the outcome that’s well formed.” D,Lowther (2012)

Semiotics

Braking through mock and clutter is hit and miss. This is true for brands, ads, designs, coms and as an individual level. Saussure argued that “there was no inherit or necessary relationship between that which carries the meaning signify are usually the worker symbol and the actual meaning which is carrying has signified.” (Cours de linguistique générale) Semiotics takes away the unclear by offering a tutorial to let you know when and how to get noticed because it is the science of meaning. It gives us the knowledge to follow and design meaning. For example the word tree isn’t exactly tree. The meaning of thee can be carried by a random thread of letters. In English the word tree is carried by the letters T_R_E_E in English. It just works with belief. Like who was the first person or caveman to say “this is tree” like if enough people believe in something. It becomes realised.

For centuries it seems that each of us has lost the ability to think individually and forgotten the understanding of the consciousness that we each retain. Each one of us has the will to be different and to triumph over amazing feats and I don’t mean the ones who strive to distance themselves from the mainstream life. For instance, the people themselves in everyday life, repeating the same Monday to Friday tasks such as jobs or looking after children. Even you have a friend, relative or work colleague who may even moan about this very routine but each one of those people have the mental capabilities to change it for the better. Not everyone is born with success clearly but there are people who are able to work hard and/or use thoughts, human thoughts.

Dr Masaru Emoto is the author of the best-selling books Messages from Water, The Hidden Messages in Water, and The True Power of Water. He is a long-time advocate for peace in relation to water. Dr Masaru Emoto demonstrated in his work, which he published in his books “Message from Water” what effect music, words, thoughts and other kind of vibrations have on water. By freezing water under certain conditions he shows that water is able to reflect the quality of vibrations it has been exposed to in corresponding harmonic or in-harmonic shapes of water ice crystals. His basic theory is that negative influences impact water in a negative way and positive influences impact water in a positive way. You can see this in the photographs as either beautiful crystals or ugly/misshaped ones. (http://www.emoto-peace-project.com/en/dr-emotos-message/) The results can be thought of as magic. But this was indefinitely no trick.

As you can see, because of the word placed on each ice crystal, the end result is fascinating. If mere words can do this to these objects, then what is it doing to us? Or infact what is the capabilities of the human mind? What is the effects of believing in something? It must have an amazing effect on you because even if what u believe in dose not even exist it still has a great effect upon you like prepaying to a god or something. Remember when you were a child and believing in father Christmas or the Easter bunny. Well they were brought to reality by “tulpa” which is Indian text described as mind conjured aberration. Santa, the Easter bunny, Jack Frost and s have been welled into existence because he is in the subconscious of many. You found out the harsh truth now but then I filled us with excitement that they were there. Or the harsh words from children they pick on a young individual. Eventually he or she will believe these words and the effects can be emotionally or physically devastating. This brings me to the placebo effect.
The placebo effect refers to the phenomenon in which some people experience some type of benefit after the administration of a placebo. A placebo is a substance with no known medical effects, such as sterile water, saline solution or a sugar pill. In short, a placebo is a fake treatment that in some cases can produce a very real response. The expectations of the patient play an important role in the placebo effect; the more a person expects the treatment to work, the more likely they are to exhibit a placebo response. In medical research, some patients in a study may be administered a placebo while other participants receive the actual treatment. The purpose of doing this is to determine whether or not the treatment has an actual effect. If participants taking the actual drug demonstrate a significant improvement over those taking the placebo, the study can help support the claim for the drug’s effectiveness. (http://psychology.about.com/od/pindex/f/placebo-effect.htm)

Polluted water frozen under the same conditions was used from the Fujiwara Dam in Gunma Prefecture of Japan was used for another experiment. A monk offered a prier over the ice and the results are identical to the ice influenced by the words “thank you” and the ice influenced by the words “you make me sick, I will kill you. Not only has it morphed the ice into a beautiful shape but has also restored the ice to a cleaner non-polluted state. So be cautious of the words that you choose to speak because the results show.
Our mind doesn’t exist in our brain or our bodies. But this false belief of our individual bodies as well as the untrue information of our past has brought up the idea that our thought are independent.
From each other. With the misinformation, it seem impossible to explain telepathy, clairvoyant, fortune tellers and other phenomena transferring or exchanging without physical communication means. In our youth, we are taught to think normal and real. The way some were taught to think is very left brained and can have harmful effects then you think.
The left side of the brain processes information in sequences and is said to be analytical since it specialises in recognising parts which make a whole. Apart from carrying out analysis, it also deals with language. It is also the side that controls the muscles found on the right side of the body. (http://uk.ask.com/question/what-does-the-left-side-of-your-brain-do) Popular opinion says the right side of your brain is responsible for your emotions and creativity. This is due to the right hemisphere’s unique way of interpreting the information being fed to the brain. The right side of your brain makes unique connections. It assesses the world without logic, making it the creative side of the brain.( http://www.ehow.com/facts_5501388_right-side-brain-do.html)
For example if a doctor gave a patient a harmless pill that dose nothing what so ever and said it would cure a headache or migraine. The patient would take it along with the information and it would cure his headache with the power of thought. That is beyond amazing.
It has been argued that Brand(2012) that You cannot define yourselves in reference to other external co-ordinance, you must define yourself internally with a relationship with a higher entity. Think of yourself as a manifestation of some higher thing, some higher frequently. This is the visible realisation, and you know that because you can’t see atoms and you certainly can’t see the forces that hold atoms together. They’re in the micro quantum world, lye the answers to everything. We can’t understand it with logical rational minds but we feel it intuitively. Get yourself in alignment with that stuff and you’ll beam like the sun (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj25Pv-h-r0)

Where do these sudden thoughts or ideas come from? Do we just create them out of something? No a sudden thought has to come from somewhere. All of them have to be created and all of them have to be thought up by the human mind. It is possible that the imagination is information that is out there and like we are just little antennas what pick up from that frequency. Like if I picked up a frequency for an engine, once that though is in then it just bursts out like a sunflower in fast forward or an explosion.

“The realm of consciousness is much vaster than thought can grasp. When you no longer believe everything you think, you step out of thought and see clearly that the thinker is not who you are. “Echkart Tolle (2012)

Road and traffic signs have an explicit and obvious meaning. We all agree on what they mean because they transmit clear information and give instructions.
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mA_LM-WMC1A)There is another idea distinguished between 3 kinds of designs which are Icons, argued by Charles Sanders Peirce index and symbols. Whether a sign belongs in one category of another depends on the nature of its relationship between the sign itself and the actual meaning. Signs are all around us in our life such as iconic signs. Iconic signs resemble the object of person that it signifies. Ensamples can include pictures or drawings. Then we have identical signs. An example of this would be the hands on a clock or of mercury on a thermometer trying the temperature in your hours and we have symbolic signs.

Modernism

Modernism

Before I begin this topic, I am going to differentiate modernism or modernist from the term we have most definitely herd of which is “modern”. Modern means contemporary or the latest or newest thing but the meaning of “modernism” has a slight related meaning. It states an ancient time period and intellectual movement which to find itself has the latest thing. In the present it is now referred to the past since out time no longer exists in the modernist time because we are in the post-modern. The period we define ourselves as have it coming after modernism which sometimes seem strange to people if you think of modernist the way you would think the term modern.

Form follows a function means that a lamp looks like a lamp but the normal shape of a lamp doesn’t mean lamp. I personally don’t think that there should be a template for a lamp. What if the first lamp made was actually just a glowing orb. If that was the first design of a lamp then in our eyes it would be the template. Anything that we familiarise ourselves with something we inevitably are comfortable with it and fall into these routine template designs. I guess the template design is the design of purpose. What if it could be simpler? Just the idea pit into words can turn the original template design to lose purpose.

If there was a re-design of something like a peg for example. If it had bat wings on the sides. Not only is it not needed but it could even effect the original purpose of the purpose. This is why too much design can be too much. But admitting it does give it personality or a personal connection. Everything that makes a chair has a purpose. I personally love the idea of every inch of an object has a meaning, purpose.

With modernism. Everything has a purpose like a basic chair. Everything that makes a chair has a purpose. I personally love the idea of every inch of an object has a meaning, purpose  “In 1928, the young architect Georgii Krutikov, in defending his diploma work at VKhUTEIN, presented a thesis project completely insane for the time, a ‘City of the Future’, which immediately became a sensation. The concept of a ‘flying city’ was as follows: the architect proposed to leave work, leisure, and tourism on the ground, while living areas would be moved to communes floating in the clouds of the city. How does this idea seem to you? Viable?” A far more popular craze of the 1920s that fed into science fiction was aviation. Russian fascination with aeronautics has been immense in our time — a kind of fear of not flying, of remaining earthbound and thus immobile. Flying — as in the archetypical dream — is a kinetic metaphor for liberation. The literary obsession with it in Europe, America, and Russia is well-known. Figures such as Tatlin and Mayakovsky are inconceivable without the airplane image. Vasily Kamensky — like d’Annunzio — was an aviator poet. Alexander Lavinsky in 1923 designed a plan for an “airborne city.” And Georgy Krutikov in 1928 envisaged a “Flying City Apartment Building” moored to dirigibles when at anchor. Taking off into a better world was semantically and psychologically linked to taking flight. The revolutionary terrorist Nikolai Kibalchich, waiting for his execution in 1881, designed a flying machine that was based on rocket principles. The father of Soviet rocket design, Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, hatched most of his ideas while living in an obscure little Russian town. N. A. Rynin, professor and popularizer of space literature in the 1920s, began his work on the cosmic age during the dark years of the Civil War.  ”I was hungry, ” he recalled, “I was cold, but one good thing about it — nobody came to see me (Georgii Krutikov (http://thecharnelhouse.org/2013/05/20/georgii-krutikov-the-flying-city-vkhutemas-diploma-project-1928/)

The nightmares remains

The Nightmares remains
Five years ago I had a dream of something disturbing, vile, and daunting and something that would leave a wound on my mind throughout my life. The foul memories of the dream have attached themselves to the places, person and even actions of what befell in the dream, which leaves me to feel uncomfortable round said place, person or action. Other times it can even make me feel the need to doubt my very sanity for many days. Imagine that feeling when you are in your first semester of University and you don’t exactly know anyone. Of Corse you will meet a few who are welcoming and happy to meet new people, but then you have the few who feel enclosed and choose not to interact with anyone. Forever to be a stranger. This is the very same struggle I am enduring with my own conscious, like I am a stranger to my own mind, because I chose to be for so many years. I’ve always been attracted to the half face profile and always enjoyed drawing them and it was that moment where my girlfriend told me that “people who draw half faces are hiding the half of themselves. And as a Gemini, we are known for our striving twin personalities. My girlfriend also mentioned to me that it’s estimated that we are meant to forget %95 of our dream. For me, I can say I literally remember at least that percentage. I like to think that everyone is going through the same situation but are too insecure to revel their deepest darkest mysteries. This gave me the courage to tell one of my friends my skeleton in the closet. But that resulted into my friend shunning me and avoiding me guaranteed to this day.
